How I work

 I offer a free initial telephone conversation to introduce myself and to get some preliminary information about why you are seeking counselling at this time.

If you decide to proceed, we will arrange an initial session for 50 minutes during which I take a fuller history and you have an opportunity to meet me and see how I work. I charge £60 for this session which is payable in advance.

Following this, our sessions are weekly at an agreed time and day that works for you. This means you can rely on the session being available to you at that same time each week.  

I charge £60 per session which is payable after each session either in cash (if in-person) or via bank transfer. If less than 48 hours notice is given for cancelling an appointment the full session fee is charged. 

I offer concessions for trainee counsellors who are seeking a counsellor as part of their counselling training.

For adoption support, funding may be available to you via the Adoption Support Fund through your local authority.
